We offer freshly brewed coffee and homemade waffles in a welcoming, community-focused environment. Our bar layout encourages conversation, whether brief or long, with additional seating extending into the common area.

ABOUT

The Common Cup was founded by Jeanne Coelho in 2017 right here in Amity, Oregon. From locals to tourists this shop fosters a communal gathering spot for people from all walks of life. Here at The Common Cup, we strive to foster a hospitable and happy environment with quality food, drink, and company.

Jeanne grew up in Amity, attending the local schools. Upon graduation, she moved away and lived outside of Oregon for 10 years before returning back home. She is an interior designer by profession with a wanderlust that has left her eager to learn from cultures all around the globe. After spending nearly two years living out of a backpack, traveling solo around the world - the one thing that always remained the same - a good conversation, with great people, around a cup of something. This sparked the inception of The Common Cup.

We’re a curious bunch with great empathy. We’re constantly pushing ourselves to learn more in our profession and from our peers. We appreciate the hospitality and generosity of others and are passionate about creating a space where everyone can feel at home - even if you’re just visiting.

All of our recipes are made from scratch and made to order. We believe food is fuel, it should be real and made with love.

We are a small space with an open kitchen, so there is no doubt you will feel a part of the experience. So grab a seat at the bar and let us cook for you!
